ABOUT FLOWERS

Flowers Guitars are the result of luthier, Gary Flowers' dedication to producing jazz guitars of the highest quality available. Flowers Guitars utilize only hand-selected, aged, European Spruce and Maple for the bodies and Eastern Hard Maple for the necks. Gary’s guitars are hand carved to
achieve an amazingly balanced and powerfully voiced instrument – even in his smaller bodied guitars. Flowers Guitars achieve a level of craftsmanship that is among the finest in the industry.

Gary’s long experience as a player is evident in the great feel of his guitars. The fretwork and set-ups are truly exceptional. The neck features a non-compression type, adjustable truss rod, a reinforced neck extension (at body) and a slightly taller fret than is found on most other jazz guitars.

Gary’s extensive career as a museum exhibit fabricator and as a prop and set builder for the motion picture industry have given him the shop skills and quality standards that have laid the perfect foundation for a smooth transition into lutherie. His skills were noticed and expanded upon in one-on-one sessions with Bob Benedetto in his East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania shop.

Flowers Guitars are custom ordered, with clients choosing from the options page, as well as providing their own specific needs. The guitars start at $5500 and are priced according to options chosen.

Flowers' goal is to make your guitar a truly personal and prized possession.
